My Furry Friends (“the App”) is designed to help users safely store and enjoy memories with their Furry Friends. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App uses, how it is handled, and how your privacy is protected.
We are committed to ensuring that your information remains private, secure, and under your control.
My Furry Friends（以下「本アプリ」）は、ユーザーの大切な思い出を安全に保存し、安心して利用できることを目的とした写真アプリです。本プライバシーポリシーでは、本アプリが扱うデータと、その管理方法について説明します。
私たちは、ユーザーの情報が常に安全に保護され、ユーザー自身の管理下にあることを大切にしています。
1. Information We Collect 1. 収集する情報について
The App does not collect personal information for analytics, advertising, or tracking purposes. The App does not send any user data to third-party services for marketing or profiling.
The only data the App handles are the following, strictly for functionality:
本アプリは、分析、広告、トラッキング目的で個人情報を収集しません。また、マーケティング用途で第三者にデータを送信することもありません。
アプリが扱うデータは、次の機能を実現するために必要な最小限のものです。
• Photos you save inside the App • アプリ内に保存する写真
Photos taken or imported within My Furry Friends are uploaded to your personal Firebase Storage path to allow viewing on your device, or on multiple devices if you choose to share your Recovery QR code. 撮影・保存した写真は Firebase Storage に安全に保存され、アプリ内での表示や、必要に応じて複数端末で共有する際に利用されます。
• Furry Friend Profile • Furry Friend プロフィール情報
Name, gender, birthday, and selected avatar frame are stored securely in Firebase Firestore so they can be displayed inside the App. 名前・性別・誕生日・フレーム設定は Firebase Firestore に保存され、アプリ内のプロフィール表示に使用されます。
• Recovery QR Code • 復元用 QR コード
A recovery QR code is generated for your convenience. Sharing this QR code with others is entirely optional and under your control. The App does not collect any additional identifiers such as email, phone number, or IP address for user tracking. デバイス変更やバックアップ用に、復元 QR コードが作成されます。この QR コードを他者と共有するかどうかは、100%ユーザー自身に委ねられています。本アプリは、メールアドレス、電話番号、IPアドレスなどの識別情報を収集しません。
2. How Your Data Is Used 2. データの利用目的
Your data is used only for the App’s intended features, such as: ユーザーデータは、以下のアプリ機能を実現するためだけに利用されます。
• Displaying your Furry Friend’s timeline • タイムライン表示
• Backing up your profile and photos • プロフィールと写真のバックアップ
• Allowing multiple household devices to view the same shared album (optional) • 家族間での共有アルバム利用（任意）
• Viewing a friend’s shared album using their unique code (optional) • 友だちの Furry Friend を閲覧する Friend モード（任意）
• This app uses Firebase Storage solely to store pet photos linked to the user’s anonymous ID. • 本アプリは Firebase Storage を、ユーザーの匿名IDに紐づくペット写真の保存にのみ使用しています。
• No personal information is ever uploaded. • 個人情報がアップロードされることは一切ありません。
No personal data is ever sold, shared, or used for targeted advertising. データが販売されたり、広告に利用されることはありません。
3. Optional Sharing Features/span> 3. 任意の共有機能について
The App includes optional features: 本アプリは任意で下記の機能を含んでいます。
• Account Sharing via Recovery QR Code • 復元 QR コードによるアカウント共有
If you choose, you may share your recovery QR code with trusted family members. This grants them access to the same Furry Friend album. This is entirely voluntary and not required to use the App. ユーザーの判断で、家族や信頼できる人と復元 QR コードを共有できます。共有した場合、その人は同じアルバムにアクセスできます。
• Friend Mode • Friend モード
You may allow trusted friends to view your Furry Friend’s photos through a secure, read-only connection. No messaging or social functions are included. あなたが許可した場合に限り、友だちが写真を閲覧できます。チャットやSNS機能はありません。
4. Data Security 4. データの安全管理
All data stored in Firebase is protected by Google’s secure infrastructure. We apply Firebase Security Rules to prevent unauthorized access. Only users who possess your Recovery QR code or Friend Code can access your shared data. This app uses Firebase Auth’s Anonymous Authentication solely to generate a unique technical identifier for the user. This identifier allows the app to create a private storage space for the user in Firebase. Anonymous Authentication does not collect personal information, cannot identify the user, and is not used for tracking or advertising. It exists only for data synchronization within the app. The app uses Firebase Storage exclusively to store user-generated pet photos associated with the user’s anonymous ID. No personal information is uploaded. Firebase の安全なインフラによりデータが保護されます。また、Firebase Security Rules によって不正アクセスを防止します。復元 QR コードや Friend コードを知っているユーザー以外はアクセスできません。Firebase Anonymous Authentication は、デバイス固有のユーザー ID を生成するためにのみ使用されます。これはクラウド上にユーザー固有フォルダを作成するための技術的識別子であり、ID に個人情報が収集されたり、リンクされたりすることはありません。
5. Children’s Privacy 5. 子どものプライバシーについて
The App is safe for all ages and does not collect personally identifiable information. Parents should supervise children when sharing QR codes. 本アプリは年齢制限がなく、個人情報を収集しません。ただし、QR コードを共有する際は保護者の管理を推奨します。
6. Permission usage 6. アクセス許可の目的
Camera カメラ
The camera is used only for capturing photos of the user’s own pets within the app. The app does not perform facial recognition, biometric analysis, or any type of personal identification. Photos taken with the camera are uploaded only to the user’s private cloud space (associated with an anonymous ID) and displayed in the in-app timeline. 本アプリのカメラ機能は、ユーザー自身のペットを撮影する目的のみに使用されます。アプリは顔認識・生体認証・個人識別を一切行いません。撮影された写真は、ユーザー固有の匿名IDに紐づいたプライベートクラウド領域に保存され、アプリ内のタイムラインでのみ表示されます。

The app requests two types of Photo Library access: 本アプリは、以下の目的でフォトライブラリへの 2 種類のアクセスを要求します。
1. Read Access (limited) — for QR Code Import 1. 読み取りアクセス（限定的）— QRコードの読み込みのため
Read access is used only when the user chooses to import a QR code image from their device’s Photo Library. The app reads only the image selected by the user. It does not scan the user’s library or access photos beyond the chosen file. 読み取りアクセスは、ユーザーが端末のフォトライブラリからQRコード画像を選択して読み込む場合にのみ 使用されます。アプリが読み取るのは、ユーザーが選択した画像 1 枚のみ です。フォトライブラリ全体をスキャンしたり、その他の画像へアクセスすることはありません。
2. Add-Only Access — for Saving Data 2. 追加のみのアクセス — データ保存のため
Add-Only access is used when the user manually saves:
• Their recovery QR code, or
• A pet photo displayed inside the app
The app does not read or modify existing photos in the user’s library. It only saves new images that the user explicitly requests.
追加（Add Only）アクセスは、ユーザーが以下を手動で保存する場合に使用されます。
・リカバリー用 QRコード
・アプリ内で表示しているペット写真
アプリはフォトライブラリ内の既存の写真を読み取ったり、変更したりしません。ユーザーが明示的に保存操作を行った場合のみ、新しい画像を追加保存します。

This Privacy Policy may be updated as features evolve.We will update this page if any changes are made. 機能追加や改善に合わせて、本ポリシーが更新される場合があります。内容が変更された際には、本ページでお知らせします。
